MPC866 - QMC Setup

I am currently developing with an MPC866. All I have found to read talks about QMC mode and it sounds like the answer to all my problems. The question is, how do you set it up? Do you need to download microcode to make it work? The MPC866 Users Manual and the QMC document are pretty slim on details about this. The MPC866 Users Manual does not even list QMC as a mode in the GSMR_L register. Where do I find out about the extra register bit definitions that make QMC work. Any help you can give or directions you can point us in would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ItsMe.

It has been a year since you wrote this request so I assume that you succeded in programming the QMC.

I also need to program the QMC on the MPC8321 PowerQUICC II Pro for what I am doing at work.

Any help from you on this will be most welcome.
