LS1046A DDR4 support

Hello Team,

We are planning to use LS1046A processor for new design. 

1) Does Processor support 32GB DDR4 RAM?

2) Is there any specific type of DIMM connector defined by NxP for DDR? Is yes then, Please help to share the details for the same.

3) If it supports 32GB then can we give provision by using 2 DIMM slots for two 16GB DDR4 module?

4) Is they any reference design available with NxP which has support of two DIMM slots for the DDR4?

Please help to resolve above queries.

So can we confirm that LS1046RDB supports 32G DIMM DDR4?

1. Yes, it does.

2. No 'specific' connector types. On the LS1046RDB we use part number 78730-1002 from Molex.

3, 4. No, we do not have LS1046A-based boards with two DIMMs, so did not test such configuration. Potentially it could be possible, however maximum working DDR frequency may be affected due to greater load.
