Hi Arvind,
please see below an answer and suggestions from an application engineer dealing with our SMPS controllers, I have contacted.
DESCRIPTION
Output regulation for 2 output voltages is similar.
UM11553 shows the principle for a LLC converter with 2 output voltages and a combined regulation.
The same principle can be used for combining a 12V and 5V output. It is important to select a suitable voltage per turn on the output to fit to the required output voltage. With this combination that could be 2.5V per turn: 2 turns for 5V and 5 turns for 12V (theoretically resulting in 12.5V). Some fine-tuning of the output resistor divider for regulation can show the best compromise/performance for output voltage levels at different current load conditions.
A second option is to make a single output 12V/18A LLC converter and add a (small) DC-DC converter for the 5V/2.5A output. This is a more straightforward setup with better accuracy but maybe some extra cost.
We do not have a demo board example that shows the PFC+LLC combination of 12V output and a (low power) 5V output.
With Best Regards,
Jozef
