Hello everyone,

I have an HCS12 microprocessor with EEPROM that only has 10,000 P/E cycles.  I need a lot more than this (hoping for 100,000).  MRAM seems promising but its hard to find the information i'm looking for. Like does it have a limited number of P/E cycles and if so, how many for the ones at freescale?

Also, if anyone could reccomend a good microprocessor with nonvolatile memory with more than 10,000 P/E cycles that would be GREAT too.  Thank you very much everybody.

MRAM has an unlimited number of program/erase cycles. Also, it offers much faster writes than conventional NVRAM. I've seen demo's where they prgram and erase 1 billion cycles at a time. It takes about 30sec.

Here's more on MRAM:
