Controller selection for CLRC663

Hi,
i am new in RFID Based product designing.

in my application i want to use mi-fare classic card for authentication purpose.

i have gone through development schematics and found LPC1769 controller was used as a host controller.

my question is can i use oher controller instead of LPC1769?

which are the selection criteria to use another controller?

as used LPC1769 has more pin count with larger size.

Hope you are doing well. The CLRC663 is a frontend that works command based, so you can send the SPI commands with your host MCU. We recommend to use the NFC Reader Library.

Also you can check  the AN11908, please consider the memory requirements to deploy the library in your device as well as the protocol necessities regarding the clocks of the device and do not forget to read the license agreement of the library.
