Control staircase lightning through Wireless Proximity sensor

I need to control the lighting of the industrial staircases through wireless proximity sensor as relay circuit is best for switching on or off but how can I control the brightness of LED through the wireless proximity sensor,

Any IC package, as well as circuit design solution which help make my project work, will be a great help.

Here we have our I2C-bus and SPI serial bus LED controllers https://www.nxp.com/products/analog/interfaces/ic-bus/ic-led-controllers:MC_48878

Each output programmable at:

• Off
• On
• Programmable LED brightness
• Programmable group dimming/blinking mixed with individual LED brightness
• Programmable LED output delay to reduce EMI and surge currents
