Codewarrior for MWCT1000CFM

Hi,

I have a board running MWCT1000CFM wireless power chip. Since it doesn't come programmed out of the box, I'm trying to figure out how to program it using CodeWarrior USB Tap, and I have a couple of questions:

1) I downloaded CodeWarrior for MCU V11.1. The "WCT1000 A11 Reference Design System User’s Guide" mentions that it needs "CW MCU v10.5 Wireless Charging MWCT1xxx Service Pack". Does version 11 not support MWCT1000? If not, I can't figure out how to download version 10.5 and its MWCT1xxx Service Pack.

2) Can you point me to an example project that I can run to get me started running the chip?

3) The datasheet keeps saying to read "WCT1000 TX Library User Guide.pdf (WCT1000LIBUG)". I searched all over NXP website and google and I can't find any reference to this user guide other than in the datasheet!

Hi Xiangjun,

Can you please provide example files for the MWCT1000CFM? The example i am following references the v10.5 DSC Service pack. Is there a link to download this? I am following the steps in WCT1000SYSUG.pdf

I am also using Code Warrior v11.1.

I was able to run the the example firmware for A11 reference design. But I see several calls in the code that are either not documented in the library guide you provided or have definitions that are not accessible in the code to modify, like "WCT_Poll" or "WCT_Run".

I think that the CodeWarrior for MCU V11.1 tools  is compatible with the old version of CodeWarrior for MCU V10.5, the CodeWarrior for MCU version 11 tools supports MWCT1000.

I use the CodeWarrior for MCU V11.1 tools, as you can see that it supports the MWCT1000 family.

The CodeWarrior for MCU version 11 tools can only generate a simple example, which does not include  wireless charging code. Do you have firmware package with the kit?  I attach the library user guide.

Hello again,

Sorry for the delayed response. I reinstalled V11.1, installed V11.1 updates 1-3, and attempted to reinstall MCU v10.7 DSC Service Pack for Wireless Charging MWTC101x, and it failed again.

I attempted to install this software, but Codewarrior will not allow me to, citing that it already has a newer software version. Is there a setting somewhere in Codewarrior that will allow me to overwrite with prior software revisions? If not, is there any way I can download Codewarrior v10.5-7 to avoid this problem?

Can you please provide v10.5 firmware for example code? I am also having trouble getting started. I cant find it on the NXP site.
