Can I use old date code for MRF9045LSR1

I have MRF9045LSR1  with date code 1228, 1229 (year 2012). 

Can I use this device for my product?

Yes. You can use this device.

For  NXP  devices  offered  with  a  gold lead finish,  adequate solderability is ensured in the end application. If no harmful contamination comes into contact with the components, there is no aging process in the parts and they will have a almost unlimited shelf life span.
