CAN Bus Pattern generator selection.

Hello Everyone,

I would like to verify NXP TJA1051(CAN bus), my questions as below. At the product datasheet(fig1), Pin1 is connected to a Power source Vi/o. But Vi/o has a DC level(5v) which might damage my pattern generator. Could you recommend a pattern generator to me ?Beside Pattern generator, Can we add a DC block before the TXD?Thank you.

If so you can select TJA1051/3,which provide VIO=3V compatible with 3V MCU TXD/RXD.
