Automated Manufacturing Testing of Line In and Line Out of SGTL5000

Hello,

Our company manufacture a MCU board based on iMX6, we utilize the SGTL5000 codec for our microphone input and speaker output. We would like to know if you guys have idea how to test our  Mic input and speaker output without using Speaker and Microphone? We would like to make it automatic such that it doesn't require any operator to manually check the audio input and output.

Hi Levi

one can attach signal generator to SGTL5000 codec input and

measure output, probably one can connect it to gpio and measure its frequency

as simple test. I do not think that fully automated procedure is possible.
