Audio DSP solutions for VESS like ADAU1450 SigmaDSP processor of Analog Devices

Dear NXP,

VESS(Virtual Engine Sound System) is getting more adopted to Electric Vehicle recently.

and there is a demand about it from our customer.

I wonder if NXP have Audio DSP Solutions for VESS like ADAU1450 SigmaDSP processor of Analog Devices.

When it comes to ADAU1450 SigmaDSP, It has the right functionality for EVSS.

Could let us know available parts of ADAU1450 SigmaDSP to suggest our customer?

Hi,

Previously, we have the dedicated audio DSP processor like DSP56371/374/72x, but the they are Not Recommended In New Design.

Now, you can consider the i.mxrt500 or i.mxrt600 families, even the i.mx family, the i.mxrt500 or i.mxrt600 families have the HiFi4 DSP, which is a co-processo for audio signal processing
