Approaching PCA9955B

Hi All,

I am a current student doing a project using NXP PCA9955B and Renesas uC to drive the LEDs. As I am new to these two chips, can anyone recommend some resources which I can use and read as a starting point?

Hi Cheung,

Unfortunately there are not any applications notes to make your start easier, so you will have to rely on the data sheet that provides all necessary information needed to successfully use the PCA9955B.

As for software support, I am not aware of any official code examples or drivers provided by NXP, but you might find useful this one from MBED.
