Good evening. I purchased Mifare Plus X (2K/4K) cards. When I try to upgrade them to security level SL3, I get an error message saying that the card has security level SL1. To upgrade to SL3, I need the AES keys that were set when the cards were initialized at SL1. Is it possible to obtain them?

Good afternoon, yes, the cards are personalized. The manufacturer only produces cards with chips manufactured by NXP. The manufacturer does not have information about the codes used for card personalization.

Hello @Serhii91

Hope you are doing well.

Could you please confirm if you are using already personalized Cards? If so, please contact the Card manufacturer/issuer to try to get more information on the Keys used during personalization.

Regards,
Eduardo.

Good afternoon. Protect cards from hacking and counterfeiting. They will be used in the personnel access control system. I tried using MIFARE Plus S та MIFARE Plus X. I couldn't bring them up to SL3 security level.

Hi,

MIFARE Plus S status is set as No Longer Manufactured. Focus product from the MIFARE Plus portfolio is MIFARE Plus EV2.

For further support on MIFARE Plus S and X, please contact your local Distributor from the Distributor Network | NXP Semiconductors.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
