Hi Team,

We are plan to use A3M36SL039  in our project. Please reply to below queries

1. We are using EM mode for setting DAC Voltage (Bias voltage).Since the register will be configured in digital value, what is the conversion formula to volt ?

2. If in EM, what are the initial values to be set in Sence_DACs.

3. The iC itself capable for thermal compensation. So is there any LUT available with temp vs gate bias voltage?

Hello

1. We are using EM mode for setting DAC Voltage (Bias voltage).Since the register will be configured in digital value, what is the conversion formula to volt ?

There is a GUI available on the web that can be used to set the DACs of the controller and read the temps.

https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=NXP-RF-INTEGRATED-MODULES-SETUP&appType=license

This GUI has the plot of voltage vs DAC setting.

2. If in EM, what are the initial values to be set in Sence_DACs.

Sense_DAC sets the reference voltage to compare to the VDS across the reference device.
Minimum typical value is 6'b001000 and maximum value is 6'b111111. Recommendation is that the value in this register be set higher than 6'b010000.

3. The iC itself capable for thermal compensation. So is there any LUT available with temp vs gate bias voltage?

There is no LUT available. The temperature compensation is an analog feedback mechanism as shown in the data sheet.

The gain or slope of the compensation is set with the SENSE_DAC .

Here is the slop of the temp comp vs sense DAC setting.
