I have designed an Evaluation board with three NXP sensors. Please find the design files attached. I have tested standalone mode of the NMH1000 magnetic sensor, and it worked correctly. This way I have confirmed, that the power supply to the NMH1000 and output pin for detecting magnetic field presence are correctly routed.

For the NMH1000 standalone test, mount the FRDM-STBC-FNM03 on top of FRDM-K22F freedom board and set the jumpers as follows.

By the J14 and J15 you can choose threshold and output data rate respectively. For testing you can leave both not connected. 

Then you can apply and remove magnetic field close to the NMH1000 chip and see change in logic level on the OUT pin.
