No idea.

I don't have a DZ60 for testing.  I have tried similar devices (DZ128 & DV60) and they both work well.

Can you provide information about :

• USBDM version
• Hardware version.

You can try running the debug version of the programmer

     HCS08_FlashProgrammer-debug.exe

which will create a log file:

     $APPDATA%/USBDM/FlashProgrammer_HCS08.log

which might have some clues.

The message just indicates that some function in the TCL script used to initialise or erase the target has failed.  The log mentioned above may have mode information,
