I have been poking through the many messages and the more I read the more questions I have.  So, maybe I should just start with a few questions.

Where can I find the latest info on the BDM development for HCS08 and CFV1, especially the Flexis series?

Hardware, Firmware, Software?

There appears to be 3 main BDM developments being discussed (OSBDM, USBDM, TB???), is one of these the preferred choice to get started?

Thank You,

Forest

Hi,

try USBDM - http://usbdm.sourceforge.net/ . I think USBDM is the most recent and still being developed programmer/debugger you can get. There are several versions of USBDM so you can choose which fits your requirements best.

Hi gaminn,

Thank you for the quick response.

On page http://usbdm.sourceforge.net/USBDM_V4.0/USBDM_JMxx/html/index.html there is a link

USBDM Design - Schematic, Assembly Overlays & Bill of Materials

This does not appear to work for me.

I think this is the info I am interested in. Do you have a problem with this link?

Hi all,

Sorry to hijack into the convo but i was wondering if anyone could help me, is there a programmer for the 9RS08 available such that i can download my own program onto the programmer from the computer then unplug it from the computer and go and program my devices without the need for the computer to be attached??

Ive reviewed the OSBDM JM60 guide but i gather you can only program my micro when attached to the computer?? Whereas i would like to be able to store my data using flash memory.

any advice or tips or any info would be greatly appreciated

Thanks.

P&E Micro (www.pemicro.com) has a product, Cyclone Pro, which does exactly what you are looking for. They recently introduced a Cyclone Max, but the one you are looking for is the older, Pro.
