Connection problem with CW10.0

Hi,

I have made a hardware implementing jm60OSBDM for HCS08 and CFV1.

With HCS08 It works for CW6.3 but It doesn't work with CW10.0.

I can't download the code to the MCU.

If I set a project to work with both P&E BDM and OSBDM, and at first I use P&E BDM and then OSBDM it works.

But with OSBDM only I can't make it work. I've tried with different firmware and drivers versions.

Has someone had a similar problem?

Best regards,

Gabriel

Dear Gabriel,

I haven't a OSBDM so the following is speculation.

The OSBDM requires you to set up a flash programming task to program the chip before debugging or as an auto run task as part of the debugging launch.  This is differenty from the P&E BDM or USBDM which do the programming themselves.

Is it possible that you haven't done this?  It would usually be done for you if you made a project targetting OSBDM but you may have set up your project for the P&E BDM initially.  This would account for it working AFTER having used the P&E BDM as it would have programmed the chip.

bye

Hi Pgo,

Thank you for your answer.

When you make a new project for S08 double clicking on ttf file the flash task is set.

After some testing I can say that there is an error message show by the software but the MCU is programmed and debugging could be done.

The situation is not the same for CFV1.

Best regards,

Gabriel
