Hi,

For more recent MATLAB versions, the license file shall be located in C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\MathWorks\MATLAB Add-Ons\Toolboxes

This is just an example from R2020a. So, just in case you are struggling to find the right location for your license file.
