In order to leverage the data plane capability of underlying platform the hardware acceleration can be exposed to the VMs via proprietary interfaces through direct-assignment or standardized interfaces. In this session we discuss how we can leverage the hardware acceleration on QorIQ platforms for developing optimized virtual network functions with DPDK/ODP.
