SJA1105 can be used between two mcu？

My Pcb has two MCU：S32V234 and TC297. If I use a SJA1105 to connect this two mcu, is it OK？

So I chose TC297 to control SJA1105 by SPI,then in my code:

1. Should TC297 initialize SJA1105 first?

2. S32v need initialize SJA1105?

The SJA1105 is configured via SPI, so it should be configured by the controller with SPI connection to the switch.
