Overview
This reference design demonstrates a vector control technique of a 3-phase AC induction motor with a position encoder coupled to the motor shaft.
The algorithm runs on Our 56F80X or 56F83XX Digital Signal Controller as the dedicated motor control device
It can be adapted to NXP® 56F81XX Digital Signal Controllers
The speed closed loop ACIM drive is implemented
The system is targeted for applications in both industrial and appliance fields (e.g. washing machines, dishwashers, industrial drives, machine tools, variable speed drives, elevators etc.)
