clrc663 irq pin

Hi all, I have the suspicion that in my CLRC663 the IRQ pin doesn't work at all, I tested it completely rudimentary by activating a timer plus allowing propagation of the underflow to the global ire and thus activating the IRQ pin. Well the pin doesn't do anything. anyone else having this problem? I know that the timer works Im tracking everything over SPI. In case its actually broken, how can I use one of the inactive pins for the same functionality?

okay, so my solution to this was to enable pin 7 of the irq1en register (0x09) to turn on the push pull mode of the ire pin. This didnt work at first but I suppose that mistake was on my board.
