can PN66T support nfc-sim

I'm android user.

my phone is using qualcomm snapdragon 821 chipset.

from known material, I can see it's using PN66T.

But the phone can't use nfc-sim.

I want to know to use nfc-sim, should I update some conf file?

Or I have to wait for phone vender to adapt some code to support nfc-sim.

from some search result, I see people discussing to mofity libnfc-brcm.conf or libnfc-nxp.conf, could this work?
