Hi!

about pn532 Card Emulation

It is found that the frequency of Crystal oscillator will shift due to the temperature of the environment.

However, the offset is within the range specified in iso 14443, and the frequency of the card reader through the test is 13.565MHZ.

At this frequency offset, the card simulation mode is used.

I Would like to ask about the frequency of card simulation mode is using itself osc?

Or will the antenna get the frequency sent by the card reader?

Will card simulation mode have compatibility problems when using 13.565MHZ?

Would like to ask about the frequency of card simulation mode is using itself osc?

-> Yes,

Or will the antenna get the frequency sent by the card reader?

-> No.

Will card simulation mode have compatibility problems when using 13.565MHZ?

-> Minor frequency shifts are not typically a problem.

Hi, jimmychan:
After my testing of different phones during this time. The general information is summarized as follows:
1. The NFC chip of the NXP series can read PN532 working at 13.565Mhz normally.
2. The NFC chip of the ST series can read PN532 working at 13.565Mhz normally.
3. Samsung Electronics' NFC chips (like: S3NSN4V S3NRN4V) cannot read PN532 at 13.565Mhz normally, but it can obtain the card number and complete the anti-collision process.
Can you give some suggestions to solve the compatibility problem caused by this frequency offset?

PCD:    13.553Mhz

PICC:   13.567Mhz

Can the card reader communicate with the card successfully?
