PN7462 for Mac IDE?

Hi right now there is only a PN7462(com.nxp.pn7xxxxx.update-8.0.0-SNAPSHOT-155) plugin for the Windows version of LPCXpresso. Is there a possibility to get a plugin for the Mac version as well?

thank you for your support.

I know where to download the MAC version of the IDE. That is not the point.

My LPCXpresso is running and works fine. etc. with an LPCXpresso1769 board.

But for the PN7264 you need a plugin for the IDE. 

The plugin you can download here:

PN7462 | All-in-one NFC Cortex-M0 MCU 160kB Flash|NXP 

is only for the Windows version.

As you posted in https://community.nxp.com/thread/437646#comment-846237 , you have already found a solution for this, was it just for VM(Mac) under windows? Is the problem still there with a real Mac machine? What is the Mac version on your side? Please kindly help to clarify.

Hi Kan,

the solution i have found was for a Virtual Windows machine on my MAC(VM Ware Fusion).

My OS Version ist: macOS Sierra Version 10.12.1

LPCXpresso Version: 8.2.2

Hi Mario，

Please use the PN7462 plugin from https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=SW3683&location=null&Parent_nodeId=145936388269572902024... for LPCXpresso MAC version, but it is required to use LPCXpresso v8.0.0.

Please install this version, activate it and add plugin, this should work.

Please kindly let me know if the problem is still there.

Hi Kan,

i installed version 8.0.0 of LPCXpresso. I also downloaded the file you told me.

This is the sam file I have already downloaded, right? It is an *.exe witch I i have to run on a

Windows machine to get extracted. 

After installing the plugin in LPCXpresso 8.0.0 on my Mac I ended with the following error:

 

I tried to fix this by copying the files for the Windowsmachine into the corresponding folder.

Here is the Result:

Did I make a mistake somewhere?

From the above line you should have an exe file and executing it will get a zip file like the following:

but would you please specify how you install this patch? just extract it or install it by LPCXpresso->Help->Install New Software like below:
