NT3H2111 Is there difference in readrange powered from RF-field or host

We use the NT3H2111 without energy harvesting, so nothing is connected to the Vout pin.

Is there any difference in readrange when the chip is: powered from RF-field first (without applying external power from the host), or when the chip is powered from the host first and then brought into the RF-field?

There should not be any difference in the read range, this device is still a passive element, so the read range  is the same for both cases, the section you refer here  talks about the arbitration of the EEPROM  in case that the RF interface try to  write or read from the EEPROM at the same time as the I2C interface. there is an arbitration to avoid this kind of collision.
