Hello,

I am embarking on a new project to develop a custom firmware for the NHS3152UK/A1Z. I am an experienced C/C++ programmer, and I have used Eclipse in the past. Could you please guide me with the following:

1) I download the latest version of Eclipse IDE from (Eclipse IDE | The Eclipse Foundation ). Is this the correct platform to use for developing the firmware? Or, do I need a specific version? If so, please provide a download link

2) Is there an Eclipse template for staring/creating a new firmware project? Something that provides the makefile and all that. If so, where do i obtain such templated. Otherwise, can you provide some guideline/walkthrough as to how to start a new firmware project?

3) Suppose that I have a firmware file. How do I test it using the NHS3152TEMOADK (NHS3152 General Starter Kit | NXP Semiconductors )?

Thanks in advance,

Mo

Please visit the NHS3152 web page (NHS3152 | NTAG SmartSensor | Digital & Analog IOs Temperature Sensor | NXP Semiconductors) and then download the  "NHS3152 SDK - v12.6".  This package file included the SDK and the documents for the development.

Thank you!

I was able to download "NHS3152 SDK - v12.6".

 - Upon reading some the documentation, I get the impression that one should use the MCUXpresso IDE for developing the firmware. Is this correct?

 - And if so, the following question is that "this IDE is marked as Version 25 (See the attached picture). Does this version of the IDE work with Version 12 of the SDK, or do I need to also select version 25 of the SDK?"

Regards,

Mo

In addition to my previous post, if instead of "drag-and-drop", I used the IDE's direct SDK file selection functionality (see the red arrow in the attached picture), then I get the popup error message shown in the picture.

Please provide a solution.

When I try to add the SDK, I get the pop up shown in the attached picture.

What is the solution?

Thanks,
