Hello Thomas,
See following , please!
(1)What kind of Regulatory Test has to be done for NFC tags?
For card, there is some certificate testing, like EMVCo, PBOC etc.
For NFC tag, there is no dedicated universal testing. Some industry customer has their owner company testing .
(2) Is a wireless Regulatory Test really required?
For tag, no.
(3) I like to equip my industrial control with NFC tag chips (passive) for setup and diagnostic. Which standard has to be taken? EN 300330 uses distances of 3~10m, seems to much for NFC?
No need, we have the tag antenna guide, you could take it as the design bench mark. In ISO 14443, has the tag size dimension description.
(4)And how is the situation for RFID?
UHF has the industrial testing standard. Some key projects required this.
Currently there are 2 main certification running. One is ARC test included US and EU band in Auburn University, and the other is TIPP test graded by GS1.
For HF, NO GENERIC ONE, based on the end customer requirement.
Hope above repy can help you !
Best Regards,
Weidong
