MFRC522 with MSP432 launchpad

Hi,

I'm trying to integrate MFRC522  with MSP432 launchpad through SPI communication.

The hardware is,

1. MFRC522.

2. Mifare tags 1K.

3. MSP432 launchpad.

As I'm new to this hardware, Can someone guide me the initialization of MFRC522 to communicate with Mifare tags 1K and integration with MSP432 launchpad.

 See following diagram,please!

I checked MSP432's datasheet, but I can't be sure if USA0STE is Chip Select, so you should confirm it's function with TI's Technical Support! On MFRC522 side, NSS pin is Chip Select.

In addition, for Microcontroller, you can also select our LPC series or Kinetis series MCU, see the two links, please!

Thanks for your reply,

To connect MFRC522 as master and MSP432 as a slave, It requires 3 wire mode and I assume chip select is not required in this case.

If so, UCA0STE is chip select which is confirmed by TI's technical team.
