LF 125KHz Reader / Tags Popularity

Hello:

I'm wondering if anyone can advise me if 125KHz LF Readers and Tags are being phased out.  Based upon research and feedback from a customer, it appears that 125KHz is being somewhat de-emphasized.  Can anyone provide commentary to this point.  It appears to me that 13.56MHz is capable ISO15693 is capable of similar distances based on antenna design and output power of the Reader/Writer/Initiator.

Hope you are doing great,  I believe that despite the HF tags supports the ISO 15693 the frequency might be better for some appliances,If NXP decides to discontinue the product due to unforeseen circumstances or vital business needs, the discontinuation of the product will be announced and performed according to our “EOL/DOD” process providing also a “last time buy” option to our customers. please contact your DBM for this kind of questions since we are not aware about any deadline for this product.
