Does Active Load Modulation in the NTA5332 work without external power?

Can I use the Active Load Modulation feature of the upcoming NTA5332 without a battery connected? Will energy harvested from the field be used to power ALM? Do you have any guidelines on the antenna design and a more complete datasheet?

To answer the first question , no, you need external power supply to make use of the ALM.

Also, sorry for the inconvenience this might cause you, but as this product has not been released yet currently we only have available hat documentation documentation, with the time here will be more information and guidelines regarding the topic but for now that is all the information we have.

Estephania - useful thank you. Does PN553 (sPN553V0B die) also have ALM like PN7150? Is there a way to know if ALM is present just by looking at the part number?
