Hello,
I would like to know how the antenna parameters (R, L, C, SRF) are calculated from antenna dimensions (length, width, etc...). Is there any Application Note detailing the calculations and formulas ? If not, can you please share them ?
Cordially,
Nicolas Meunier.
Hello Nicolas,
Unfortunately, we don't have the information on which IC are you using. Any reader from our portfolio has an Application Note in the Documentation section, regarding the Antenna Design recommendations.
Adding more information, If you are interested in the antenna design procedure, we encourage you to please check the following video series where you will be able to follow one of our experts explaining in a deeper manner this procedure.

Hello @Fabian_R ,
Thanks for your reply ! I use a CLRC663, but I didn't found any Application Note for what I'm looking for...
In the NFC Antenna Design Tool (application or here : https://community.nxp.com/t5/NFC/bd-p/nfc) we can calculate antenna inductance, resistance, Q factor and self-resonance frequency out of antenna width, length, number of turns, trackwidth, track thickness, etc... Regardless of the chip used.
I looked here : https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN11019.pdf but these calculations are not detailed.
