Hello,

Is the path from antenna to EEPROM encrypted?

When reading from or writing to the user area, is there a risk that data may be illegally intercepted along the path?

Hello sir,
This feature is part of the memory access management. Both ICODE Slix and ICODE Slix2 have some level of security but, yes ICODE Slix2 does have additional security features.
My recommendation would be to please request the secure file AN158930 (ICODE SLI/SLIX/SLIX2/DNA Memory Access Management). Where different recommedations are disclosed.

Best Regards,
Fabian

Hello Fabian,

The ICODE SLIX-2 does have a layer of security embedded in the memory.

Is this something added in SLIX2 and not in SLIX?
