Hi, @bryce1,
So you are using the S32K1 toolbox, version 4.3 in MATLAB 2024a, and you have managed to activate the license.
First, make sure that the MATLAB path is correct and ready for using the toolbox, by running the script mbd_s32k_path.m from the src folder. This way, all the files and folders necessary for using the toolbox are added to the MATLAB path.
The error you reported is related to the configuration block, where the parameters are not recognized.
After running the path script and the problem still persists, I would like you to detail the steps you followed until you encountered this error, in order to investigate possible causes of the problem, namely:
- which model did you open
- if you modified anything in the blocks and what exactly did you modify
- additional actions you took
Let us know how the process works.
Best regards,
Dragos
Hi, I'm using the 4.3 version of the toolbox, with matlab 2024a
When I tried to activate and to verify the licence, there are 2 messages :
first one : NXP Model-Based Design Toolbox for S32k1xx licence activation was succesfull
second one : Dot indexing is not support for variable of this type
Nevertheless, when I tried to compile a simulink model, there are many message about missing parameters of MBDTBX_EC_S32K-AS block
Thanks
Bryce

Hi, @bryce1,
First of all, which toolbox in the Model Based Design suite are you using and what is the error you are encountering? Because based on the error displayed we can figure out the cause of the problem that led to this error.
Until you help us with the error displayed, I advise you to read a similar thread that might help you in the license activation process: https://community.nxp.com/t5/Model-Based-Design-Toolbox-MBDT/Unable-to-active-MBD-Toolbox/m-p/195501...
