Dear Sir,

I am doing the PHD and using MATLAB student Version. I installed the MBD toolbox of NXPs321XX in MATLAB. But I unable to find the board in the model settings of MATLAB Simulink. I used customized NXPs32 board for BMS applications of my project. Is customized NXPs are used for PIL testing.

Hello @satish4project,

The MBDT for S32K1xx uses a custom configuration block for setting the model to address the S32K144 board, so there are no settings regarding the hardware in the Simulink model settings for the MBDT for S32K1xx.

For both the BMS application and PIL I recommend you start with our examples. Depending on your hardware, you could find an example in the BMS section group, showcasing basic reading examples.

For the PIL, some additional settings need to be performed in the configuration block in the target model. For example in the Target Connection, you have to check the PIL mode, select the right COM port used by your setup, and the UART pins on your board.

Additionally, the top model for the PIL could work with no config block, but in this case you have to use the TOOLS options menu as shown below.

Hope this helps,
