Thank you all for your helpful answers, I'll use your advises.
Hi Tom:
Just add to Mark's good comments.
K70 is not on the support list of MCUXresso SDK now, but you can contact NXP market guys , if the requests are from many customers especially some big customers, it will be discussed in SDK core team.
we would suggest you use bare metal or MQX for K70 product.
For classic MQX 4.2 , KDS is supported for K70 , free.
MQX v5 is a continuation of classic MQX under low-cost commercial licensing terms. . Please refer to below link
MQX™ v5 Software Solutions|NXP

Hi Tom
I doubt that older chips will be integrated into the newer IDEs (I think that I saw a statement a couple of years back concerning this). Probably MQX (although not supported by NXP any more) is what NXP advises (CodeWarrior can be used).
If you need complete solutions (TCP/IP, TLS, USB, file systems, Modbus, etc.) for K70 which operate in KDS, MCUXpresso, etc. and are compatible for most chips from KL02 through K70F to K82F (and is continuously supported) you can try the uTasker project, including K70 simulation.
