Hello,

 

We bought the board of MPC5746R-176DS,  but the  IC on the board is SPC5745RMLU3, NOT SPC5746R. While debugging, the device detected is MPC5743R. Flashing occurs for only single core, when trying to flash for two cores it shows error.

Pls check the attached pictures for details.

Pls help check if we received correct board, thank you

Hello,

the board looks correct. but what is not correct is the micro. As our web page states:

Maybe this is due to chip shortage and they put SPC5745R version in it.

There are slight differences in those 2 versions, in memories:

But there are 2 cores, make sure your debugger correctly detect micro.

You can also have a look in MIDR register on micro to determine version.

So from my point of view you received board with different micro. Please contact your vendor for clarification here.
