gnu based tools for mpc560xB

Is there  a recommended GNU toolchain for MPC560xB or can anyone recommend one?

Hi Raquel,

sorry for delay.

Several tool vendors are supporting Qorivva/5xxx MCUs:

         Greenhills,

         Windriver,

         Ash Ware,

         Cosmic

         Isystem,

         Mentor,

         CodeWarrior.

According to the info I found on the web P&E has a dev tool for Qorivva too which is based on GNU.

Note: GCC does not yet feature support for Freescale MPC56xx and MPC57xx devices.

The other PKG Qorivva components (PROG and ICD) fully support MPC56xx and MPC57xx devices.
