Several tool vendors are supporting Qorivva/5xxx MCUs:

Ash Ware,
Cosmic
Isystem,
Mentor,
CodeWarrior.
According to the info I found on the web P&E has a dev tool for Qorivva too which is based on GNU.

Note: GCC does not yet feature support for Freescale MPC56xx and MPC57xx devices.
The other PKG Qorivva components (PROG and ICD) fully support MPC56xx and MPC57xx devices.
