I am looking for the 4th part in the "NXP AMP Product Line Introduction" set of presentations that covers VDS (Vehicle Dynamics & Safety) and the future of the MPC56xx,  MPC57xx, and S32S/P/H product lines.

I have been able to find the first 3:

In particular the product roadmap and marketing nomenclature. From what I have been able to glean from the first 3 presentations is that all of your automotive product lines will be brought under the S32 naming umbrella with the suffix denoting the use:

  • R: Radar
  • V: Vision
  • K: Edge Nodes
  • G: Gateway
  • S/P/H: VDS.

I am eagerly awaiting the DEVKIT-5744P to ship so I can start Powertrain MBD development, however I also do not want to spend time developing for a product line that will be discontinued soon.

Hi,

MPC5744P will not be discontinued soon. It is included in 15-year longevity program. Its launch date is November 2014, it means MPC5744P will be manufactured at least until 2029.

See following:

How you correctly said S32 is generic part number convention covering multiple platforms.

As example, I would mention new S32R having lot of common with MPC5775K

Unfortunately, we cannot provide information about future products as they are confidential proprietary.

Is there any estimated ETA on the NXP AMP Product Line Introduction: Vehicle Dynamics & Safety (VDS) presentation/roadmap document?
