Unable to import NXP Autosar MCAL Sample Application

Hi Team

I managed to install MCAL and Tresos.
Now i am trying to import the MCAL Sample Application. During the import i 1st hit the error related to updating 103 to 105. I did that in all xdm project inside tresos/workspace/.pref
But now after that i am hitting the error as shown below.
Do i need to further update the Sample MCAL application to work on MCAL 1.0.5 ?
 

Any support to resolve this would be highly appreciated.

Hello,

If I understand correctly your question, then we don't provide the RTE and OS stack, so it's pretty much depended on the 3rd party who provides these package to make their RTE and OS stack to compatible with EB Tresos 14.2.

Which project you're trying to import? Is that the sample from MPC574xG ASR 4.0 RTM 1.0.5 or RTM 1.0.3? 

Anyway, the error log says that you're missing the OS package, which is a separate one rather than included in the MCAL package. You can find it here:

You can consider not using OS. In this case, just click to the Remove module button to remove it.

Thanks for your response. I already had the OS installed. the difference was the example was look for 88 and the OS 103 that i had installed has the plugins for OS_TS ending with 92. So again i updated the .pref/xdm files to point to 92 and that error vanished.

So looks like the example delivered with MCAP 105 is not updated from 103 for MCAL and from 88 to 92 for OS. It would be great if this is updated and the procedure is made simpler.

Thanks but for your prompt replies. I was able to load the example project now successfully.
Now i understand that i need to generate the code and then take it back into my C IDE and compile the same and build my application on top of this based on the BSW, RTE and OS Stack.

Is that also available in the EB Tresos 14.2 or this version of EB Tresos is designed only for MCAL generation.
