System timer module in MPC5674F

Hi Everybody,

                    I am learning about the System timer module in MPC5674F, in the reference manual it is given as below

18.1.2 Features

The STM has the following features:

• One 32-bit up counter with 8-bit prescaler

• Four 32-bit compare channels

— One channel with a dedicated interrupt node

— Three channels sharing the same interrupt node

• Independent interrupt source for each channel

• Counter can be stopped in debug mode

               Anyone please explain the difference between interrupt node and interrupt source.

In this context, there is no difference.

Ok, Thank you, I have searched this document http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/app_note/AN2865.pdf?fasp=1&WT_TYPE=Application%20Notes&WT...  but not got sample code.So will u please send me a sample code for System timer module in MPC5674F for better understanding of it?
