Hi ,

                  I am working in RAM fault check in MPC5746R. By using EIM(error injection module ) i have created peripheral RAM errors. As of my understanding EIM can be used for injecting error in peripheral RAM.Is it possible for injecting error for following.

- system RAM(single bit/multi bit error) 

- system / peripheral RAM overflow error

Anyone can suggest the possible methods?

Hi, I think I have already answered in other threads.

Regarding MEMU overflow error, I don't think it would be simple method to inject this sort of error intentionally. It requires simultaneous errors coming from different sources what may be difficult or impossible to generate SW way.

I would rather recommend to directly inject FCCU fault assigned to MEMU overflow.
