I am working with processors from the MPC56XXX family. I want to test Power-On Reset by programming while the software I have developed is running on target. How can I do this, can you help with this?
I'm not sure if I can understand the question. Do you mean that you want to trigger POR reset by software? I'm afraid that's not possible, you can trigger by software only functional or destructive reset.
Thanks for the answer. In fact, we want to verify the situation where the POR IC keeps the processor reset for a certain period of time at startup. Is there a way to do this in software?
