Hello,
A product of ours is built around an MPC875VR66 Freescale processor.
This device has been declared as obsolete - so we are looking for a replacement - preferably with the same package and set of peripherals.

Thanks for the quick response.

Power consumption isn't a major concern for our product - but we do want to keep the same set of peripherals.

1.Which of the above have an external memory interface (parallel - for interfacing with NOR flash) ?

2.The following is also required: I2C, SPI, UART, MII (for controlling an Ethernet PHY)

We don't have any PowerPC processor that has the same package and set of peripherals as the MPC857T.

1. You can look at the MPC8306 https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/legacy-mpu-mcus/powerquicc-processors/p.... It has 3x 10/100 Ethernet, Linux support and less then 1W typical power consumption. This device was launched in March 2011 and has been included in 10 years longevity program. https://www.nxp.com/products/product-information/product-longevity:PRDCT_LONGEVITY_HM. Typically our Netcomm devices are available for at least 5 years beyond this period, depending on demand.

2. You can look at the P1010 https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/power-architecture/qoriq-communication-.... It has 1,04W typical power consumption. This device was launched in November 2010 and has been included in 15 years longevity program.

3. You can look at the P1011 https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/power-architecture/qoriq-communication-.... It has 1,37W typical power consumption. This device was launched in June 2008 and has been included in 15 years longevity program.

4. You can look at the P1015 https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/power-architecture/qoriq-communication-.... It has 1,33W typical power consumption. This device was launched in December 2009 and has been included in 15 years longevity program.

5. You can look at more recent T1023/T1013 & T1024/T1014 https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/power-architecture/qoriq-communication-....
These processors are more powerfull and have power consumption around 2,5W - 3W. These devices were launched in April 2014 and have been included in 15 years longevity program.

6. You can look at the LS1020 https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-processors/layerscape-multicore-pro.... It has 2 RGMII interfaces and typical power consumption around 2W at lowest frequencies.

7. You can look at our i.MX processors https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-processors/i-mx-applications-proces.... Some of them also have 2 Fast ethernat controllers and around 1W power consumption. For example, i.MX 6UltraLite

We know nothing about your application/requirements, etc so we cannot recommend any particular processor for your design.

We suggest our customers to go through one of our dedicated distributors. We rely on their support for these types of inquiries as they would become more involved in the full design of the product and can suggest adequate solution.
