Hi,
i would like to supply VDD_HV_IO_MAIN with 3.3V.
I have read several threads about this issue, e.g. this one https://community.nxp.com/t5/MPC5xxx/CAN-MPC5777M-VDD-HV-IO-MIAN-connect-to-3-3V/m-p/1212784
There @davidtosenovjan wrote, that it can be, but with limitations. With the limitations that the flash memory is only used in read-only mode.
I understand that you have to disable LVD400, but why do I have limitations with the 416 BGA package? VDD_HV_PMC has a separate supply pin that can be supplied with 5V. As far as i understand it, i would not have limitations. Is that correct?
Hi, yes you are right. With 416BGA package, you may use separate voltage for VDD_HV_PMC. Low voltage detector VLVD400 must be disabled anyway, as it is related VDD_HV_IO_MAIN segment. And not only this one but apparently others as well.
