Hello, I am currently using MPC5777M GTM-MCS module, the GTM version is 104, and I want to get SDADC directly through MCS. Can this version support it?

Hello,

Looking at our web I can see latest GMT config tool is: 1.1.0.0

I expect that GTM config tool is for configuration of GTM module an not of an SDADC.

However I never tried it.

Hello Peter,

I haven't used the configuration tool but am looking to implement this by writing code manually. Therefore, I would like to confirm whether the current GTM (GTM version V104) supports acquiring SDADC data directly through MCS.

Additionally, after downloading the GTM104 manual from the official website, I noticed that there are no multiplication or division instructions in the MCS instruction set. Could you please confirm if this is due to the current architecture not supporting these operations or if it's an incompleteness in the manual? If possible, could you share a complete version of the manual?

Hello,

You can download the from following link:

Could you please confirm if this is due to the current architecture not supporting these operations

In the time the GTM was released it was not needed so those are not supported.

NXP is not using GTM anymore, we prefer eTPU which is also on new devices.

I would like to confirm whether the current GTM (GTM version V104) supports acquiring SDADC data directly through MCS.

I do not see any direct connection from ADC to GTM. Nor any triggers to GTM.

I assume you will have to use DMA for automated data transfer and also some trigger.
