Dear All,

I develop with MPC5777C and ETAS RTA OS.

Chip S/N : SPC5777CCMME3  3N45H CTFA1624A

Also I implemented MCAL RTM Version for our application.

I want to configure STCU and get a BIST result. But STCU2 module looks has some problem.

Most test results are failed or not yet completed..

As I know, STCU off line test is executed automaticallly,, So It doesn't need that related Source code..

Also Refer to my UTEST area, STCU RUN is Enabled.(Set Default Value)

I don't know why do this...

Please give me advice and solution.

Best Regards,

JM

Hi,

The issue with attachment must be on your side as I can see it clearly on NXP web site.

Here is the link:

Hi,

Peter, the NXP web site you shared above is related to MPC5777M. Would you like to sh are the  MPC5744P BIST configuration code with me?

Thanks,

Alice

Hi Alice,

For MPC5744P there is no need to take any steps.

NXP decided to not give customer possibility to configure BIST themselves.

The chips are delivered already with preprogrammed and enabled offline (startup) BIST.

For online BIST you can refer to reference manual, there is described how to exactly implement online(shutdown) BIST.

Chapter 70.6.3 Shutdown self-test sequence.

Hi,

As you can see from STCU2 module your off-line BIST is not configured. LBIST and MBIST control registers must be configured in order to perform test successfully.

For off-line BIST configuration must be done via DCF records.

To get an good overview on this problematic I suggest you to read AN5131:
