Hello,
We are currently using the MPC5602 device for ongoing programs. But we are shifting to MPC5605 and/or MPC5606B due to memory requirements.
So are these two devices( MPC5602 and MPC5605) are compatible from SW point of view ? Means may I use the old SW (MPC5602) on the new device MPC5605 ?
Thanks,
Dipak
First it would be needed to check whether you are using MPC5602B or MPC5602D.
Basically there are 4 different sub-familes where slight differences may exist but all these devices are very similar:
- MPC5602/3/4B and MPC5602/3/4C
- MPC5601/2D
- MPC5605/6/7BF
- MPC5605/6BK

Hello David Tosenovjan
currently using MPC5602BF1MLL and shifting to MPC5605B or MPC5606B. Please comment
Following document compares MPC5604B family (that is MPC5602/3/4B and MPC5602/3/4C) and MPC5607B (that is MPC5605/6/7BF)

If you choose MPC5605/6BK variant you could also pay attention to this appnote:
