Hi there,

We have MPC5554AZP132 in one of our designs.

I know it is now "not recommended for new designs".

Could I ask you to list a date/availability/production status path forward for this component from now until end-of life?

Hi Peter,

MPC5554AZP132 is in Not Recommended for New Design status, and the life cycle code is 5 NOT RECOMMENDED(DECLINING).

The Last Order Date hasn't been released at this stage 5. When it was changed to stage 6 End Of Life status, the PCN (Product Change Notification) of Last Order Date and Last Ship Date would be released.

It depends on the customers’ demands when it is changed to stage 6. If customers were placing order continuously, it wouldn't be EOL. There’s standard end-of-life notification policy (one-year notice for placement of final orders and an additional year until the last ship date).
